PLASTISOL is a dispersion of PVC resin (Polyvinyl Chloride), in a plasticiser and other additives. It is a whitish liquid (when not dyed or pigmented), of variable viscosity. This generic name encompasses an almost infinite number of formulas, which have a fundamental point in common: under the action of heat (160/200ºC), they leave their initial liquid state to go into a solid state, without a noticeable weight loss or volume change.
